Everyone knows Benihana. As a restaurant chain they have been around for 50 years with their traditional Japanese Teppan style of cuisine. A new Benihana was recently opened at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia, California. I was thrilled to be hired to photograph one of the new Benihana Restaurants featuring an updated modern industrial look which will be the updated look as they go forward adding to their portfolio of properties. Restaurants are generally one of the most difficult photo shoots commercially, many different obstacles present themselves, I brought a large variety of strobes, hots lights, tripods, and remote camera and flash triggers. It was a long shoot, but yielded many great images showing off the beautiful design and style of this location.
