Live Nation Warner Theater Washington DC

Wednesday, February 16th, 2011

Live Nation is a major concert promoter, owner, and manager of properties and concert halls nationwide. On my recent trip to Washington DC, I was hired to photograph the famous Warner Theater that was built in 1924, and has seen every type of top talent and entertainment come through their doors. The beautiful old theater features large hand carved gold leaf molding and ceilings that would be difficult to duplicate at costs today. A stunning view towards the Memorial Mall can be seen at night at the roof top of the Theater.

Just as interesting is the Warner Building Atrium right next door to the Theater. In sharp contrast to the 1924 Warner Theater, The Warner Building Atrium is a super modern piece of architecture with waterfalls and fountains that run under a black marble floor over steel cage bridges, very dramatic indeed.
